releasing the trigger switch, and try to remove the blade by manually exerting back and forth sawing
movement. Be ready for strong reaction torque likely to cause a kickback.
j) Never grasp the tool (the shaft or the cutting blade) while in motion and never place your hands too close
to the moving blade. Laceration hazard.
k) Avoid touching the blade just after use, as it may be hot. Similarly, when removing the cutting
blade from the tool, wear protective gloves to grasp it. Cutting accessories may become hot
after prolonged use. Avoid contact with skin. Burn and laceration hazards.
l) Only apply the blade to the workpiece when the tool is switched on. Otherwise there is danger of
kickback when the cutting blade jams in the workpiece.
m) Do not touch objects or the floor with the saw running. Danger of kickback.
n) When sawing, the adjustable shoe plate must always face against the workpiece. The blade can
become wedged and lead to loss of control over the tool.
o) When the cut is completed, switch off the tool and then pull the blade out of the cut only after it
has come to a complete standstill. To avoid any kickback. Then you can put down the tool securely.
p) Do not brake the blade to a stop by applying pressure on its sides after switching off. The blade
can get damaged, break or cause kickback.
q) Always wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before placing it down. The blade
can jam and lead to loss of control over the power tool.
(C) Special warnings when using the product
1. Become familiar with the controls and the proper use of the tool.
2. Keep children and bystanders away
Do not let bystanders touch the tool or its power cable or the extension cord.
All bystanders (esp. children) should be kept away from tool and work area.
Keep the product away from children or from their environment. Never allow children to operate the
tool. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the tool.
3. The use of this product is forbidden to children.
4. Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. This product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the product by a person responsible for their safety.
5.1. Do not use the tool in wet or damp conditions, areas. Keep work area free from tipping
hazards.
5.2. Do not work with materials containing asbestos.
6. Never put down the tool unless the tool is switched off and the shaft and blade have come to
a complete stop. Always stop the tool before putting it down (note: Ensure that blade is no longer
moving when you put down the tool).
7. Keep hands and other body parts well away from the workpiece while tool is in use.
Keep hands well away from the underside of the workpiece during use. Do not use your hands
to remove any dust, chips or other waste while the tool is in use. Do not touch the blade right
after operation, as it may be hot and cause burns. Never seize the shaft or blade during operation.
8. Residual risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors. The
following hazards may arise in connection with the tool's construction and design:
a. Damage to lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.
b. Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
c. Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used over longer
period of time or not adequately managed and properly maintained.
d. Health hazard resulting from dusts from materials containing harmful substances. Wear
respiratory protective equipment.
