Music Sync
This menu lets you add music to
your GS500gX. Before you start
transferring music from your PC
to your phone, make sure your
computer has the following set-up
and accessory is at hand:
•
Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
•
Windows Media Player 10 or above
•
USB data cable
•
microSD card (If you wish to use
external memory as the music
storage.)
WARNING
Do not disconnect your phone
during the transfer.
Transferring music using
Windows Media Player

From the home screen select
Connectivity in the Settings tab.

USB connection mode
Select
and choose Music sync.

Connect your handset and PC
using a compatible USB cable.

When you try to connect the
handset to your PC, your handset
will read: "Music Sync" followed
by Connected.

The PC will prompt you to
launch your preferred music
management software.

Select Window Media Player.

Go to the Sync Tab, then drag
and drop the music you wish to
transfer into the Sync List panel.

Click on the
This starts the transfer process.
WARNING
Do not disconnect your phone
during the transfer.
