Mowing
DANGER! Risk of injury! Before
beginning work, check the terrain and
remove all objects that may be flung
out by the product.
– Slowly engage and firmly hold clutch lever
for travel guide (10) up to the stop.
– Steer the product at an even, slow speed
(walking pace) in the straightest lines pos-
sible.
Important notes
• Always work across slopes where possi-
ble.
• Do not cut wet grass if possible.
• Overlap the mowing lines slightly for an
even appearance.
• Cut long grass first at the greatest possi-
ble cutting height, then mow in transverse
direction at the desired cutting height.

• If the air flap (33) closes, the collection
container is full and must be emptied.
Information on mulching
Note: Mulching is the use of cut grass
as a natural compost. When mulch-
mowing, the grass is cut, finely
chopped and spread across the grass
in one operation.

• Do not mulch moist grass.
• Regularly clean the mulch wedge, ejec-
tion channel and cutting blade.

Cleaning the product
Clean the product immediately after each
use. Dried-on grass is extremely hard and dif-
ficult to remove.
– Remove residual grass using a brush or
plastic scraper (do not use any sharp
implements).
– Remove deposits from the wheels.
– Wipe down the product with a slightly
damp cloth.
– Never clean the product with water or
high-pressure jet.
