General safety instructions
• To assemble the awning safely, the user must have read and under-
stood these instructions for use before assembling the product.
• Observe all safety instructions! Failure to do so may cause harm to
you and others.
• Retain all instructions for use, and safety instructions for future reference.
• The safe and danger-free use of the awning can be guaranteed only if
it is regularly checked and maintained. The awning should be checked
regularly for signs of wear or damage to the covering and framework.
• Use only suitable fixtures for installing the product. Please ask a spe-
cialist to assist in selecting the correct items.
• Do not use product near heat sources such as heaters or BBQs.
• Do not alter any components of the awning.
• Do not reach into the housing while extending or retracting the awning.
• An unsafely attached handle may cause the handle to detach and the
awning to retract automatically.
• Only use original spare parts. Only these replacement parts are
designed for the device and therefore suitable. Other replacement
parts will not only lead to an invalidation of the warranty, they may also
endanger you and your environment.
• Children or any other persons, who are not in a position to operate the
product safely and carefully due to insufficient physical, psychic or
sensory conditions, are not allowed to use or mount the product.
Fixing materials
• The awning fulfills the wind resistance class as they have been spec-
ified in the technical data.
• Check all screws, nuts etc. from time to time in order to ensure that
they are tightened correctly.
Usage when there is wind
• If the awning is assembled as per the regulations, it satisfies the
requirements of wind resistance class as specified in the technical data.
• The awning should be used only for wind speeds declared in the wind
resistance class.
Usage when there is snow or ice
• The awning should not be extended when there is snowfall or freezing hazard.
Obstacles
• There are crushing and cutting area between the movable parts of the
awning. Clothing or body parts can be seized by these moving parts.
Maintenance
• Safe and risk-free use of the awning can be guaranteed only if the awn-
ing is checked and maintained on a regular basis. Inspect the awning
regularly for signs of wear or damage to its covering material or frame.
• If any damages are identified, a professional should be given the tasks
of repairing it. Awnings that are in need of repair should not be used.
• Check all screws, nuts etc. from time to time in order to ensure that
they are tightened correctly.
Installation and use
DANGER! Risk of injury! Strong forces act on an awning when
it is windy. An incorrectly mounted awning can tear loose and
cause serious injuries.
Extending
CAUTION! Risk of crushing! Carefully pull awning from awn-
ing casing and attach handle to awning post.

NOTICE! Possible damage to the awning fabric! Ripples in
the vicinity of the hem, seam and panels is the result of multiple ply fab-
ric and different wrapping thickness on the cloth spindle. The stretching
in the material that results can produce patterns on the fabric.
Ripples from wrapping next to the seam on the rolled up and unrolled
cloth are caused by double ply material in the vicinity of the stitching.
During periods of short absence, and if the wind increases, the awning
should be brought in.
If the awning has become wet, allow it to dry out as soon as possible in
its extended position. If the awning is rolled up for an extended period,
unsightly stains may easily develop.
For cleaning, use a dry brush on the fabric of the awning. Remove persistent
dirt with warm soapy water and a brush. Leave to dry out before retracting.
Storing
Store the awning in a dry environment for long periods of storage.
Disposal
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and correspondingly
marked plastics that can be recycled.
– Make these materials available for recycling.
Disposal of the awning
At the end of its lifespan, dispose of the awning according to the regula-
tions applicable in your own country.
