Electrical safety
• The generator can only be operated efficiently and safely if it is correctly installed, operated and maintained.
• Always ground the generator before using it.
• The connection of load must only be performed by an experienced, qualified electrician.
• Make sure that the generator set will be connected to an electric device whose specifications meet local standards for use.
• Don't connect or remove the load while standing in water or damp ground.
• While the generator is generating electric power, charged parts or supply lead must not be touched by human body or by metal parts without insulation.
• The load or power system powered by the generator set must be compatible with the characteristics of the generator set, and must be within the capacity
of the generator set.
• Cut off all power sources before performing maintenance.
• Make sure that all places where the power sources are connected and the removed power lines have proper insulation.
• Never operate the generator outdoors while it is raining or snowing.
• Never touch the machine with wet hands or electrical shock will occur.
Safety labels
• Maintain all safety labels on the unit clean and readable. If a safety label is no longer readable, have it replaced.
CONTROL SYSTEM
Engine oil alerting system (Red) (Fig. 1)
• The engine oil protection system stops the engine automatically turns on the engine oil indicating lights.
• Fill the engine with oil until the oil level reaches the upper limit mark, afterwards, the engine can be restarted
again.
Notice: If the engine oil alerting light flashes for a few seconds, it means the oil level is low. Add oil and restart
the engine.
Overload indicating light (Red) (Fig. 2)
When the overload indicating light is on, the converter overheats and the AC voltage rises. When that happens, the
AC protector will activate and stop the generator to protect the generator and the equipment which is connected
to it. If the AC indicating light (GREEN) is off, but the overload indicating light (RED) is on, the engine will not stop
working.
If the overload indicating light is on and the generator has no output, take the following measures:
1) Turn off the connected electrical equipment and stop the engine.
2) Reduce the total power rate of connected electrical equipment within the rated output range.
3) Check whether the cool air inlet is blocked by foreign matter and whether the relevant control parts show signs
of damage. If there is any problem, find the cause and remove it immediately.
4) Restart the engine after checking.
Note: When supplying power to electrical equipment with high starting current, the overload indicating light may
flash for a few seconds. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.
AC indicating light (Green) (Fig. 3)
• When the engine starts and outputs normally, the AC indicating light will turn on.
Ignition switch (Fig. 4)
• When the ignition switch is set to the "ON" position, the generator can start and operate normally
• When the ignition switch is set to the "OFF" position, the secondary coil of the ignition coil of the generator set
is connected with the ground, and the spark plug will not ignite.
• Turn the switch to the "OFF" position during shutdown.
Choke valve handle (Fig. 5)
• When the choke valve handle is in the "ON" position, the carburetor's choke is in the open state, so as to ensure
that the carburetor can have enough air intake for the generator to operate.
• When the engine is running or hot or when the ambient temperature is high, the choke valve handle should be
placed in the "ON" position.
• When the choke valve handle is in the "OFF" position, the carburetor's choke is in the closed state. This
decreases the air intake of the carburetor and increases the concentration of the oil gas mixture entering the
engine combustion chamber. When the ambient temperature is low, it is necessary to set the choke handle in
the "OFF" position to increase the starting ability of the engine.
