Function
Power Button
Turns the unit on and off.
Toggles between the operational modes of the unit.
There are four modes: Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat and
MODE button
Fan.
(Do not select HEAT mode if the unit is cooling-
only. Heat mode is not supported by these models.)
Adjusts the fan speed in four steps:
AUTO → LOW → MED → HIGH
FAN Button
(Fan speed cannot be adjusted in AUTO/DRY
mode.)
Enables remote to measure the temperature at its

SLEEP button
Activates/disables the sleep function.
Raises or lowers the set temperature in 2°F(1°C)
increments.
Max setting: 86°F(30°C)

Temperature controls are not available while unit is
in FAN mode.
Activates/disables Turbo function. This function

enables the unit to reach a pre-set temperature in a
short amount of time.
TIMER ON button
Sets timer to turn unit on
TIMER OFF button
Sets timer to turn unit off
LED button
Turns unit's LED display on and off
Toggles the GEAR setting to control the power
consumption of the unit to:
GEAR button
GEAR 75% → GEAR 50% → Cancel
SWING button
Controls the oscillating louver.
Duct Operation
Normal Ducted Use
1. To distribute air through a ducted system, close the air
shutter by pushing the tab to the right to pressurize the duct
system.
Thermostat Use
1. Refer to the separate instruction manual provided with the thermostat for instructions on operating the system via the thermostat.

Max Cooling
1. To remove significant heat in the zone/rome directly below
the ADB, open the air shutter by pushing the tab to the left.
This will "dump" cool air directly below the unit and eliminate
air and heat loss in the system, and maximize cooling
performance in the room. Once comfortable, close the shutter
to pressurize and engage the duct system once more.
