Narrow lugs:
The two M8 diameter lugs for supply must never touch each other.
20mm narrow band lugs (reference CEMBRE A24BM819 ) will be chosen which
extend the alignment of the DC voltage busbars.
4.1.4 Precautions regarding electromagnetic disturbance of the inverter
The inverter is based on a high frequency architecture that may generate electromagnetic fields. This
electromagnetic fields may affect other equipment if they are too close of the inverter or not protected
against Electromagnetic disturbance.
-
These are our recommendations:
-
minimum distance of 2m between the inverter and any sensitive equipment.
-
Use shielded cables for all the connections (*). The shielding should be earthed at both the transmitting
and the receiving ends.
-
Reduce cable length and shield connection as possible
-
Route cables as close as possible to conductive parts ("loose" cables or loops should be avoided –
cables should be placed against the hull or walls).
-
Keep power cables separate from battery cables.
-
Keep power cables separate from control cables (at least 200mm).
-
The cables should only supply power to this appliance; any deviation to power another appliance is
prohibited.

This is a recommendation for installation rather than an obligation. The installing electrician should
decide whether or not to use shielded cable depending on the EMC environment.

IRST STEPS
You can use KERSINE as soon as you have connected batteries in the DC input and powered on the unit.
Factory settings are Output AC : 50 Hz 230V.
It is important to remember that you cannot use your KERSINE without batteries, because all architecture is
based on these batteries to provide the power to the Hardware.
5.2
DC
INPUT VOLTAGE LEVELS
If the batteries are too low KERSINE will automatically turn off. It will tun on again if the batteries reaching the
minimum level (see 6.1).
KERSINE is also protected against overload, overvoltage, and voltage (see protection).
This is why it is essential to keep your batteries charged at all time.
CRISTEC is not liable for any damage caused to the batteries or for inefficient charging
