• Unrestrained compressed air hoses as
well as the resultant fragments or dust
being blown around can cause injuries.
Pull all hose clamps tight before com-
mencing work and replace damaged sup-
ply lines.
• Blow through or clean connections before
using for the first time. Soiling can impair
the function and and safety of the product.
• Disconnect the product from the com-
pressed air supply during breaks in work,
prolonged periods of non-use or taking
out of operation.
• The product may only be connected to
lines that have a protection mechanism to
prevent the maximum permissible pres-
sure from being exceeded by more than
10%. This can be achieved, for example,
by a pressure regulating valve with a
downstream or built-in pressure limiting
valve being fitted into the compressed air
line.
• Only operate the product at the pressure
required for the operation concerned, in
order to prevent unnecessarily high noise
levels, excessive wear and the resultant
malfunctions.
• Compressed air can be dangerous if the
operator is unsure how it should be han-
dled. Assembly, commissioning and
maintenance is reserved for trained and
experienced persons.
• Do not direct compressed air at yourself
or at others in order to clean clothing and
footwear.
• Never blast objects that contain hazard-
ous substances (e.g. asbestos).
• Never use solvent-based liquids, acetone,
undiluted acids or solvents as cleaning
agents! A spray mist from these sub-
stances is highly hazardous to health and
possibly explosive.
• Live components in the work area must be
protected from dirt and dust particles
being blown around.
• Only use compressed air. Never use air
containing chemicals, synthetic oils
(organic solvents), salts or corrosive gas,
as it can cause damage and malfunctions.
• Use only lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Compressed air products are not earthed.
Proceed with caution when coming into
contact with power sources.

• Always attach protective caps when
transporting or storing products and
accessories.
Maintenance
• Interrupt, vent and depressurise all con-
nections before commencing any work on
the product.
• Only those maintenance and fault elimi-
nation tasks described here may be car-
ried out. Any other tasks must be com-
pleted by a specialist.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only
these replacement parts are designed
and suitable for the device. Other replace-
ment parts will not only lead to an invalida-
tion of the warranty, they may also endan-
ger you and your environment.
Device-specific safety instructions
• Activities such as drilling, sawing, grinding
and spraying create vapours or dust, the
constituents of which be carcinogenic, cell
damaging or mutagenic. These constitu-
ents include: lead in lead-based paints
and varnishes; crystalline silica in bricks,
cement and other masonry work; arsenic
and chromate in chemically-treated wood.
To minimise health risks, such activities
should only be carried out in well venti-
lated spaces using suitable protective
equipment. Use dust extractors and filter
systems wherever the possibility arises or
the situation dictates.
• Make sure that the work area is well ven-
tilated.
• Always wear suitable protective clothing.
The wearing of shock-resistant eye pro-
tection, hearing protection, dust protec-
tion mask, gloves, sturdy footwear and
close-fitting work clothing reduces the risk
of injury.
• Make sure that there are no ignition
sources (e.g. naked flames, burning ciga-
rettes, non-explosion protected lamps
etc.) within your working area.
• Make sure there is adequate lighting
when working with the product.
• Always maintain a firm stance and have a
natural posture when working.
• The on-off switch must be released if the
power supply fails, in order to prevent an
abrupt start-up when the power supply is
restored.
• The blowing out of blind holes and blow-
ing on of edges can cause excessive
noises. Always wear hearing protection
when handling the airgun.
