8. Before connecting to the mains, check that the household power supply
corresponds to the information on the rating plate.
9. Before cleaning, the device must be switched off and disconnected from
the power supply.
10. Do not use the appliance if the power plug or power cord is damaged, a
malfunction has occurred, or if the appliance has been dropped or
damaged in any other way.
11. Always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Always unplug the
power cord by grasping the plug. Do not pull on the power cord.
12. Make sure that the steam ironing station is placed on a level surface. Do
not make any modifications to this appliance. Use it only in the household.
13. Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
leaving the room.
14. Do not add perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids,
chemically descaled water, or other chemicals to the unit or water tank, as
this may cause water leakage, brown spots, or damage to the unit.
15. Do not direct the hot steam at people or animals.
16. Avoid direct skin contact with the hot steam.
17. Keep flammable liquids and vapors away from the steam ironing station
and steam iron.
18. To prevent the water in the appliance from freezing, do not use the steam
ironing station in sub-zero temperatures. Do not use the steam ironing
station outdoors.
19. Never turn the steam iron with the hot soleplate upwards, otherwise hot
water may leak out and cause burns to the skin.
20. Hot steam leaks from the iron. Do not attempt to remove wrinkles from a
garment that is on your body. Do not use steam near your hands or the
hands of hands of another person.
21. Turn off the power and unplug the iron before starting cleaning or other
routine maintenance.
Caution hot
WARNING
The steam ironing station and especially the soleplate of the
iron are very hot during and after operation. Avoid skin contact
and touching in general. This also applies to the escaping
steam.
