Before first use
Remove all packaging and any stickers or labels that are on the outside of the
device.
Clean the device to remove packaging residues, among other things. To do
this, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth.
Important
Before using the ice cream maker for the first time or after it has been moved
or tilted, leave it in the same place for at least 2 hours to allow the coolant in
the compressor to settle. To do this, remove the lid from the device.
Note
When you use this machine for the first time, you may notice a strange odor coming
from the engine. This is not uncommon with brand new engines - the smell will
disappear when the engine is running.
Features of the ice cream maker
Meaning of the buttons
The ice machine is operated using the buttons below the display. The buttons
have the following meaning:
Button
On / Off button
Use the On / Off button to switch the ice cream machine on and off
again after preparation. Be careful not to switch the machine on and off
too often in short intervals, otherwise the compressor may be damaged.
There should be at least 5 minutes between switching on and off.
Program selection button
Use the menu selection button to switch between the different
preparation modes. When selecting a "new" mode, the preset time for
this mode is shown on the display.
-/+ buttons
By pressing these buttons, you can control or change the duration of
stirring, cooling or ice cream and yogurt preparation. Pressing the
corresponding button once increases or decreases the set time by one
minute. This is also possible during an ongoing preparation process.
Start / Pause button
The current preparation mode is paused via the Start / Pause button and
can be resumed by pressing this button again.

Meaning of the display icons
Dispay icons or programs of the ice cream machine have the following
meaning:
Icon
MIXING
In stirring mode, liquids or contents are stirred without cooling them. The
preselected preparation time is 10 minutes. The preparation time can be
adjusted in the range of 5 minutes to 60 minutes using the +/- buttons.
COOLING
The cooling symbol indicates whether the ice machine is currently
cooling down the ice container. The preselected cooling time is 30
minutes. The preparation time can be adjusted in the range of 5 minutes
to 60 minutes using the +/- buttons.
ICE CREAM
In the ice preparation mode, the contents of the ice container are cooled
down considerably during permanent stirring. This mode is active after
the device is initially switched on. The standard time and maximum time
for the ice preparation mode is 60 minutes. The minimum time for this
mode is 5 minutes.
YOGURT
In yogurt preparation mode, the contents of the ice container are heated
without stirring. The standard time for the yogurt preparation mode is 8
hours, although a significantly longer time of approx. 14 hours is
recommended for vegan yogurt, e.g. soy-based.
The preparation of ice cream
When preparing ice cream in the ice cream maker, proceed as follows:
1. Prepare the ingredients for the ice cream according to the recipe. If the
recipe calls for the ingredients to be boiled down, boil them a day before
making the ice cream and leave to cool in the refrigerator.
2. The prepared ice cream mass or the required ingredients should have a
temperature of approx. 6-8 °C before you use them in the ice cream
machine. This corresponds to normal refrigerator temperature.
3. Insert the ice cream container into the cooling housing, if it is not already
inside. Place the stirring part on the shaft at the bottom of the ice cream
container.
4. Now fill the chilled ingredients into the ice container. Be careful not to
exceed the maximum filling quantity. The ice cream container may be filled
to a maximum of 2/3 - the mass expands during the freezing process and
takes up more volume in the cooled / frozen state!
