• Observe all safety instructions! Failure to do so
may cause harm to you and others.
• Retain all instructions for use, and safety instruc-
tions for future reference.
• If you sell or pass the device on, you must also
hand over these operating instructions.
• The device must only be used when it functions
properly. If the device or part of the device is
defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
• Never use the device in a room where there is a
danger of explosion or in the vicinity of flammable
liquids or gases.
• Always ensure that a device which has been
switched off cannot be restarted unintentionally.
• Do not use devices with an on/off switch that
does not function correctly.
• Do not overload the device. Do not use the
device for purposes for which it is not intended.

not use the device, if you are not in a condition to

• This device may be used by children as of the
age of eight (8) and by persons with limited phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and/or knowledge, if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in the safe opera-
tion of the device and understanding the risks
resulting from this. Children may not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not
be carried out by children unless supervised.
• Ensure that children are not able to play with the
device.
• Always comply with all applicable domestic and
international safety, health, and working regula-
tions.
Electrical safety
• Only qualified electricians with a work permit for
electrical units up to 1000 V are allowed for instal-
lation and maintenance. The present user's man-
ual should be carefully read before beginning
works.
• Fixed electrical wiring must be equipped with an
automatic circuit breaker.
• The unit must be connected to power mains
through a double pole circuit breaker of suitable
rating integrated into the fixed wiring system with
opening of contacts at all poles. The gap
between the circuit breaker contacts at all poles
must be not less than 3 mm.
• WARNING! Similar to the use of any other house-
hold electrical appliances when operating this
fan, the following basic rules must be followed:
– never touch the fan with wet or damp hands.
– Never touch the fan when barefoot.
• Make sure that the power supply corresponds
with the connection specifications of the device
before it is connected.
• The device may only be used within the specified
limitations for voltage and power (see type plate).
• When not in use, the device must always be fully
disconnected from the electrical network using
an all-pole switch.
• Disconnect device from power supply before and
during transportation
Maintenance
• Before any work or setting, make sure that the
device is completely disconnected from power
supply by all-pole switch.
• Only maintenance and troubleshooting
described here may be carried out. Any other
work must be carried out by qualified specialist.
