Instructions
Workstation: Remove surface impurities with a dis-
posable/paper towel.
Storage and transport: In order to prevent contam-
ination of the instrument or contact with dust, always
store the stethoscope in its case.
Cleaning preparation: No special requirements.
Manual cleaning: The head piece and plastic hoses
can be wiped off with alcohol or a mild soap solution.
The ear tips are to be unscrewed and can be washed
with soapy water. The membrane can be washed with
soap after the retaining ring has been removed.
Automatic cleaning: Automatic cleaning is not
possible.
Disinfection: Disinfecting solutions and cleaning
agents such as Meliseptol®/Meliseptol® rapid are to be
used in accordance with the manufacturer instructions.
Please heed the given reaction times!
Maintenance: Defective parts must be removed
and/or replaced.
Check and performance test: Check the mem-
brane, hose and head piece for damage. The instru-
ment must be complete. Before use, the ear tips must
be positioned correctly. The position of the head piece
is to be adjusted by each user individually.
Packaging: Individual packaging: a standard poly-
ethylene bag can be used. The size of the bag must
correspond to the size of the instrument so that it
closes properly.
Sterilization: As the stethoscope is not intended for
use during operational procedures, regular cleaning
procedures are sufficient.
Storage: Store the stethoscope in a dry place.
