To insert a cassette

Press the g/4& STOP/EJECT button to open the cas-
sette holder.

Insert the cassette and press the cassette holder
down.

To remove the tape
Press the m/& STOP/EJECT button.
To stop the tape
Press the @/4& STOP/EJECT button.
To rewind the tape
Press the <4 REW button.
After the tape is rewound, the cassette holder opens
automatically. The recorded material will not be erased.
To rewind the tape while simultaneously erasing the
recorded material
:
Slide the ERASE switch to the right and press the <4
REW button. After the tape has been rewound, the cas-
sette holder will open automatically.
To advance the tape rapidly
Press the ®& FF button. The recorded material will not
be erased.
To advance the tape rapidly while simultaneously eras-
ing the recorded material
Slide the ERASE switch to the right and press the DE
FF button. After the tape has been advanced rapidly,
the ERASE switch will be released and the tape re-
wound. Aiter the tape has been rewound, the cassette
holder will open automatically.
Note
if a cassette has not been inserted in the cassette
holder or if the tab on the cassette is set to the red
mark, the ERASE switch will not function.
