FOR BATTERY OPERATION
INSTALLATION

Open the battery compartment fid on the bottom.

Insert four size AA (IEC designation R6) batteries,
with correct polarity as illustrated.
Lay the ribbon underneath
the batteries. The ribbon
aids in removing the
batteries.

Close the lid.
@ For battery operation, be sure that the ac power adap-
tor or the car battery cord is disconnected.
@ When the batteries weaken, the time required to re-
wind and rapidly advance the tape lengthens.
@ When the BE-V8 with batteries installed is being car-
ried, set the POWER switch to OFF.
