1.1. PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTION
•
The instrument can be used for RESISTANCE
measurements on installations with CAT III 300V to
ground
•
Do not use the instrument on loads with technical
specifications different by the same described in § 7
We invite you to follow the normal safety rules aimed
at
protecting
protecting the instrument against incorrect use
•
Check that the rated operating voltage value
indicated on the back label should be consistent with
the power supply voltage of the system under test
•
Do not use the instrument in circuits with voltages
and currents higher than the rated ones
•
Do not carry out any measurement in case you find
anomalies in the instrument such as deformation,
breaks, substance leaks, absence of display on the
screen, etc..
1.2. DURING USE
•
The
failure
instructions may damage the instrument and/or its
components or be a source of danger for the operator
•
Before changing function, disconnect the test leads
from the circuit under test
•
When the instrument is connected to the circuit under
test, never touch any terminal, even if unused
•
Avoid measuring resistance if external voltages are
present. Even if the instrument is protected, excessive
voltage could cause damage
