Leak test of the radiator using the radiator caps
1.
Remove the original radiator cap.
2.
Select the appropriate radiator cap from the maintenance set and use it to close the radiator.
3.
Actuate the tester pump until you have reached a pressure of 10 - 15 psi. (fig. 1 + 2)
CAUTION: AVOID PRESSURES OF 35 PSI OR MORE!
4.
Check the pressure display. If the displayed value drops, there may be a leak in the radiator.
Carry out a radiator inspection and repair the radiator.
