Plunge sawing
Requirements
• Soft materials such as wood, aerated
concrete, plasterboard etc.
Procedure
1. Place the device with the lower edge
of the footplate (1) on the workpiece.
The saw blade (17) does not touch the
workpiece.
2. Insert the saw blade (17) in the work-
piece by tipping the device forward un-
til the device is vertical.
3. Continue sawing along the desired cut-
ting line.
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect
battery can damage the device and bat-
tery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (10) along the guide
into the battery holder (9).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (13)
on the battery (10).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (9).
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Place the rechargeable battery into the
device.
2. Hold the device by the handle (7) and
the auxiliary handle (4) (insulated grip-
ping surfaces).
3. Press the switch lock (6).

4. Press and hold the On/off switch (5).
5. Release the switch lock (6).
6. Wait until the device has reached the
full stroke rate.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(5).
2. Do not pull the saw blade out of the
cut until it has come to a standstill.
3. Remove the rechargeable battery from
the device if you are leaving the device
unattended or if you have finished
working.
Pre-selecting the rotation
speed
The speed button (20) lets you to choose
between two speed levels.
The relationship between the number 1 2
on the display (level) (19) and the stroke
rate per minute is shown in the following
table.

PARKSIDE app
The PARKSIDE app lets you monitor the
device and control certain functions. The
functions may change with updates to the
app and firmware. For more information

Requirements
To find the device in the PARKSIDE app,
the following requirements must be met:
• The PARKSIDE app is installed on your
smartphone and Bluetooth® is activ-
ated.
• The following battery is inside the
device: PARKSIDE Performance Smart
