TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Weight Limits
This stairlift has been designed to carry one person only and has
a maximum weight limit of 19st (120kg) or 25st (160kg) if you
have purchased the heavy duty model.
Operating Periods/Excessive Use
Your stairlift has been designed to run continuously for no longer
than 15 minutes in any three hour period. If you use the stairlift
too often without taking a break, the batteries will not have
sufficient time to recharge.
Upholstery
Carelessness with matches, cigarettes and so on can cause
a fire. The upholstery material on your stairlift has been tested
for compliance with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety)
Regulations 1988 and with EN 1021-2:2014.
CAUTION
Any modifications which have not been expressly approved
by the manufacturer may void the warranty and may cause
damage. Your stairlift should be inspected and maintained
by a Platinum approved service engineer.
In the event of a fire, DO NOT use the stairlift.
Maintenance
To maintain safe and reliable operation, your stairlift needs a
regular safety inspection and service which should take place
once every 12 months.
Your local stairlift servicing centre will be pleased to discuss
servicing your stairlift, along with any warranty arrangements.
Sound Pressure Levels
The emission sound pressure level at the operators position is
expected not to exceed 70dB(A).
