Cleaning
Before cleaning your stairlift, ensure it is switched off using the
key switch (2).
The stairlift must be kept clean to ensure continued reliable
operation. The plastic, metal, and painted metal areas of
your lift can be cleaned using a small quantity of mild, non-
abrasive surface cleaner. Apply your cleaner to a soft cloth
and use a different one to wipe away any residue.
The upholstery is resistant to most household stains, many
of which can be wiped off easily. Regular cleaning with a
damp soapy cloth or sponge, followed by a wipe with a
damp clean cloth will help the upholstery maintain a fresh
appearance.
Important Information - Solvent based cleaners, bleaches,
abrasives, synthetic detergents, wax or silicone based
polishes and aerosol sprays should not be used on any
part of the stairlift. Do not attempt to clean the interior of the
stairlift or the greased area on the rail. If specialist cleaning is
required, please contact your local service centre.

Maintenance
To maintain safe and reliable operation, we advise your
stairlift is serviced and safety inspected every 12 months.
Your local stairlift service centre will be pleased to discuss
servicing your stairlift and any warranty arrangements.
Should you need them, replacement parts are available from
your local stairlift service centre.
