14. This appliance may be used by children at least
EN
8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities or without
experience or knowledge, if they are properly
supervised or if they have been given instructions
relating to the safe use of the appliance, and if the
risks involved have been understood. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance operations should not be
performed by unsupervised children.
15. The product's electrical connection must be made
to an earth connection.
16. The electrical connection must only be made once
the appliance's installation has been completed.
17. Before installing, maintaining or cleaning the
product, shut off its power supply. (Unplug the
appliance or switch off the fuse).
18. It is prohibited to install the power cable close
to equipment or materials which may come into
contact with water and cause a deformation of the
cable. This may cause a fire.
19. The extractor hood is fitted with an electrical
plug. If this plug isn't accessible after installation,
to disconnect the hood, it must be connected
to a switch which enables all-pole shut-off. The
switch should be connected directly to the power
terminals and must be distanced from the contacts
on all poles in order to ensure total disconnection
under the conditions for a type III power surge.
