4.
Check that all the pressure, tension and
temperature parameters etc. are respected;
5.
Avoid installing in contact with plastered
walls;
6.
Mount a suitable gas filter upstream from
the solenoid valve;
7.
The electrical connections to the coil must
be made by a qualified electrician and in
respect of the regulations in force.
8.
Power supply cable: 3 x 0.75 mm
VV-F, maximum cable section: 1.5 mm
cable size compatible with connector:
Ø6mm to Ø10mm, cable gland: PG9/11
unified.
9.
When the solenoid valve is installed out-
doors, we recommend providing protec-
tion (e.g. a canopy) to prevent damage to
the product by the atmospheric agents
(water, etc.).
FLOW ADJUSTMENT
The GSAV series solenoid valves are fitted with a
flow adjustment device as standard. This device
acts by limiting the opening of the shutter and
allows the gas flow to be regulated from 30 to 100%
To adjust the quantity of gas that passes,
unscrew the hexagonal screw (10) on the upper
part of the coil.
In this way, the coil-stopping washer (9) can be
removed to access the adjustment screw (8)
inside the sleeve of the valve with a flat head-
ed screwdriver. At this point, turn the adjust-
ment screw clockwise to reduce the flow of
the valve and anti-clockwise to increase it.
When the screw is completely tightened the shut-
ter is closed and therefore no gas passes, while
the maximum gas flow is obtained with the screw
completely loosened.
