Reducing Valve Adjusting Handle
Drain Cock
4. Turn the reducing valve adjusting handles(2 places) fully to the right to make sure with
both of them that the indication of the pressure gauges increases.
5. Make sure that compression operation automatically stops in about 3 to 6
minutes.(Except when the auxiliary tank is connected, because the operation time is
longer at the time of voltage drop(see Page 18))
6. After operation has stopped, wait for 5 minutes or so to check for any abnormal sound, air
leak or a sign of restart-up.
7. Open the drain cock slightly to discharge the compressed air. Make sure that once the
pressure drops, the machine is restarted.
8. Close the drain cock. Turn off the power during compression operation to make sure
that operation stops.
9. Turn the reducing valve adjusting handles(2 places) to the left to make sure with both of
them that the indication of the pressure gauges decreases.(You may hear an air leak
sound, but it is not a trouble.)
10. Open the drain cock to discharge all of the compressed air and drain from inside the air
tank.
If any abnormality is found in inspection/checking prior to operation, contact our nearest
distributor or MAX Authorized distributors for inspection/repairing.
