When connected directly to the PC the RS Shifter & Handbrake acts as its own device and will need
to be set up in game titles by assigning the functions using the options screens of the title you are using
When connected to a wheel with a USB A port on it (such as the Pro Racing Wheel), some setup may
still be required, depending on the game Either way, when it's connected to the wheel it acts as if it is
part of the wheel:
• Sequential Shifter operates the same functions as the paddle shifters on the wheel
• Digital Handbrake will actuate the Circle (PlayStation) or B (Xbox/PC) button of the wheel
• Handbrake Axis will actuate the Handbrake Axis that is present in the wheel
When connecting to wheels such as G29, G920 or G923, the use of the Logitech G Racing Adapter
is required in order to adapt the USB port used on the RS Handbrake & Shifter to the analog 9 pin port
used for the shift function of those wheels As these wheels were not designed for a handbrake or
sequential shifter, functionality is not as complete as when connected directly to a PC or a USB A wheel
Some titles will not be able to support this mode of operation as they don't feature the ability to reassign
the gear functions
