UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the missing
part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction and
personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
WARNING: DO not attempt to start the engine until all assembly has been
completed. Serious personal injury and damage to the machine may occur.
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1-1) refer to a specific point in an
illustration or image.
Major components have been assembled. Some minor assembly is necessary.
DISCHARGE CHUTE
1.
Place the rubber discharge gasket (#58) onto the output port of the
chipper base and align the holes.
2.
Place the assembled discharge chute (#20) onto the discharge rubber
gasket and secure in place using the M10 x 24 hex bolts (#38), M10 lock
washer and M10 flat washer.
3.
Torque the bolts 32 ft-lb.
IN-FEED CHUTE
1.
With the in-feed rubber gasket (#59) in place, insert the 2 hinge pins on
the in-feed chute (#23) into the hinge receptacle on the input port of the
chipper base.
2.
Move the in-feed chute into position and secure in place using the 2
provided cap screws, flat washers and self-locking nuts.
3.
Tighten enough to lightly compress the rubber gasket.
4.
Connect the emergency stop wire to the receptacle at the engine.
WHEEL AXLES
1.
Tip the chipper by lifting the in-feed chute.
