CAUTION
1. This hood is intended for general kitchen cooking ventilation only. Do not use for
exhausting hazardous or explosive materials and vapors.
2. To reduce the risk of fire and to exhaust air properly to the outside, do not exhaust air
into enclosed spaces such as walls, ceilings, attics, crawl spaces or garages.
3. This appliance is designed for adult operation and children should not control or
play with the hood.
4. For optimal ventilation, it is recommended that the distance between the bottom of
the range hood and the cooking equipment be at least 24 inches and a maximum
of 31 inches.
5. Always follow the ventilation requirements of the cooking equipment manufacturer.
6. It is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves when installing, servicing or
cleaning the appliance.
7. Please read the specification label on the product for more information and
requirements.
8. When the hood is used with other gas appliances, the room should be adequately
ventilated.
9. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or qualified electrician to avoid a hazard.
