Installation
1. Place a thick protective cover on the countertop, cooktop, or stovetop to prevent
damage or dust. And try to leave as much space as possible around the installation
area.
2. Determine and mark the center point of the ceiling where the range hood will be
installed, making sure there is enough space above the ceiling to install the exhaust
vent.
3. Use a drywall saw and jigsaw to cut a 7-8" opening for the vent and power cord.
4. Cut two pieces of wood measuring 2"x3", pass them through the opening to the top
of the ceiling, and secure them between two joists with screws as shown in Figure 1.
