3. Install airfoils
Handle airfoils with care to avoid scratches and scuffs.
Make sure sticker color on each airfoil matches corresponding sticker
color on fan hub.
Tighten airfoil screws to 22.1 in·lb (2.5 N·m). Do not use power tools.
Over-tightening screws may cause airfoils to warp and void your
warranty.
Place motor unit onto top piece of motor unit
packaging foam with shaft pointing down
(Fig. 3.1).
Align each airfoil on fan hub, making sure sticker
color on airfoil matches corresponding sticker
color on fan hub. Secure airfoils to hub with M5
x 16 mm screws and tighten screws to 22.1 in·lb
(2.5 N·m) in sequence shown (Fig. 3.2).
