Types of protection
Type B and Type C (Combined
grinding wheel or disc protection)
Type D (cup disc protector)
Grinder Straight Disc Guard
None
WARNING: Grinding thin sheets of metal or
other easily vibrating structures can result
in much higher total noise emissions (up to
15 dB) than the stated noise emission
values. Measures should be taken to
prevent noise emission, to the extent
possible, such as the application of thick
and flexible sound insulation panels.
Increased noise emission must also be
taken into account both for the
assessment of the risk of noise exposure
and for the selection of appropriate
hearing protection.
The value of vibrations during use of the
power tool may differ from the total
declared value depending on the way the
tool is used. Safety measures must be
identified to protect the operator based
on an estimate of exposure under actual
conditions of use (taking into account
parts of the operating cycle, shutdown
and idle times, as well as trip time). .
