Abrasive cutting discs are intended for
peripheral grinding; Lateral forces applied
to these discs can cause them to break
into pieces.
Always use disc flanges that are
undamaged and of the correct size and
shape for the disc selected.
Proper disc flanges support the disc, thus
reducing the possibility of breakage. The
flanges for cutting discs may be different
from those for grinding discs.
Do not use worn blades from larger
power tools.
A disc for a larger power tool is not
suitable for the higher speed of smaller
tools and may break.
When using dual-use discs, use the
correct protection system for the
operation being performed.
If the correct protection is not used, a
sufficient level of protection may not be
obtained, which could result in serious
injury.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Use the tool in a well-ventilated area.
If used in the same room with other gas or
fuel tools, it must be well ventilated.
Make sure that sparks resulting from use
do not create a hazard, for example, that
they do not reach people or flammable
