Scanning colours (Scan)

In this teach mode, a colour gradient is taught and allocated to one of the 32 channels. The colour scan can be
necessary when the surface to be detected has a very inhomogeneous colour gradient. During scanning, the colour
sensor scans the entire surface and thus teaches all the colour values present.
Aim the sensor at the object (colour) which must be within the sensor's scanning range. Then carry out the following
steps.
Press key 3 s until the submenu "Functions" appears.
Activate the key (next). The set-up mode can now be modified with the arrow keys. Set the "Scan" mode and
confirm with the key (go).
Now the indication „scanning" appears in the display. Keep the
different colours past the sensor. The IO box FT 50 C...SIL8 saves the complete colour gradient.
Releasing the (go) key terminates the scanning procedure. Now the taught colour gradient can be allocated to
one of the 32 channels by using the keys
If other colour gradients are to be taught and allocated to a channel, this process is to be repeated. Press the

If this is not required, quit this mode at the end of the teach process with the

Grouping channels (Group)

In the "Group" teach mode, taught colours can be grouped and allocated to one of the 32 output channels.
Example: All green and red colours activate signal output 31 and all blue colours activate signal output 32.
Max. 32 colours can be taught. Taught colours can be allocated to several groups.
Example:
- 4 groups each with 7 colours (28) on 4 group outputs.
- 2 groups each with 20 colours on 2 group outputs (double colour assignment as the total number of
colours must not exceed 32).
Press key 3 s until the submenu "Functions" appears.
Activate the key (next). The set-up mode can now be modified with the arrow keys. Set the "Group" mode and
confirm with the key (go). Now all the colours (channels) which are to be grouped can be selected. Select the
