5.5.
DC CURRENT MEASUREMENT
Before attempting any measurement disconnect all the test leads from the
circuit under test and from the meter's input terminals.

1. Select the position.
2. Press the ZERO key to zero residual magnetization current.
3. Insert the cable in the middle of the clamp jaws (see Fig. 8), in order to obtain accurate
measures (see Fig. 2). The display shows the value of DC current.
4. The symbol "-" appearing on the display indicates that the instrument is connected in
the opposite direction with respect to the current direction indicated by the arrow
located on the side of the jaws.
