THE CARAFE IS INSULATED
1.
This means you can enjoy fresh, hot coffee anywhere in the home or garden.
2.
To prevent heat loss by evaporation, we've fitted a screw-on lid.
3.
To open the spout for pouring, press the lever at the rear of the lid (w).
To remove the lid, turn it to align the ) with the U(.

Rinse the carafe with hot water, to prewarm it, so it doesn't take heat from the coffee.
Replace the lid in the same position, then turn it to align the ) with the L(.
6.
SWITCH ON
1.
Put the plug into the power socket. The display will light up.
2.
If you don't touch the controls for 1 minute, the lights will go out, to save electricity.
3.
Press any button to wake the appliance.
FILLING
1.
Remove the carafe from the hotplate.
2.
Use the grip to open the lid, and expose the reservoir.
3.
Fill the reservoir with the exact amount of water required (2-10 cups).
4.
Close the reservoir lid.
5.
Press the drawer release button and open the drawer.
6.
Open up a #4 paper filter, and put it into the filter holder.
GROUND COFFEE
1.
Put filter-ground coffee into the filter. The amount will vary with the type of coffee and individual
taste, but we suggest two rounded teaspoons per cup of water.
2.
Close the drawer, then replace the carafe on the hotplate.
COFFEE BEANS
1.
Remove the lid from the coffee mill.
2. Fill the mill with coffee beans.
3. Replace the lid.
4. Turn the knob till the • is next to the setting you require – fine h coarse.
5. Close the drawer, then replace the carafe on the hotplate.
Don't use the appliance just as a coffee grinder. If you don't let it run its full cycle from grinding to
coffee making, you'll break it.
COFFEE NOW
1.
Ignore the clock.
2.
If you're using coffee beans, use the 2-10 button to set the number of cups you want. This determines
the length of time the mill operates.
3.
If you're using coffee beans, use the g g g button to select the coffee strength, g = mild, g g =
medium, g g g = strong.
4.
Press the 0 button if you're using ground coffee.
5.
Press and release the i button. "i" will show on the display.
6.
If you're using coffee beans, the mill will operate.
7.
Shortly afterwards, coffee will start to drip into the carafe.
AUTO SHUT-OFF
The appliance will shut down a couple of minutes after brewing has finished.
Press any button to wake the appliance.
