To Clean the Microphone Filter:
Use a brush to remove any ear wax from the
microphone filter. Be careful that you don't push the
ear wax inside the microphone filter. Hold the hearing
faceplate facing downwards ensuring loose wax
falls out and away and not into the filter. If you can't
remove the ear wax from the microphone filter,
contact your Sonetik Specialist.
To Clean the Ear Wax Filter:
It is important to replace the filter as soon as it has
become clogged, or after one week to maintain
optimal performance.
You can purchase additional filters from your Sonetik
Specialist. There is a tool included in the exchange
filter pack. Use this tool to pick up the clogged filter
and remove it from the hearing aid. Pick up a new
ear wax filter and press it onto the aperture at the
end of the hearing aid. When purchasing exchange
filters, you will receive a separate user guide. If you
have difficulties replacing the ear wax filter, contact
your Sonetik Specialist.
