Your GOhear-in hearing aid is equipped with a "no-touch"
program change system. To change the program, tap twice
onto your ear, and you will receive confirmation that the
program has been changed.
There are four different programs (volume levels). With
each set of taps you select a higher program, unless your
hearing aid is already set to program 4. From program 4,
further tapping will bring it back to program 1 again.
If you change to program 1, you will hear 1 beep
If you change to program 2, you will hear 2 beeps
If you change to program 3, you will hear 3 beeps
If you change to program 4, you will hear 4 beeps
Whenever you turn your GOhear-in hearing aid on, it
start at the last program selected and the applicable
beep sequence will be audible after approx. 10 seconds.
You may find that certain programs are more comfortable
in different situations. For instance program 1, which
has less amplification, might be more suitable for noisy
environments such as restaurants. On the other hand,
program 4, which has more amplification, might be more
useful when listening to a speaker in an auditorium.
