Battery Information

Battery Size
Your GOhear-in hearing aid uses a standard size A10
hearing aid battery, which is available for purchase from
your Sonetik Specialist.

Low Battery

Your GOhear-in hearing aid is equipped with a low battery
detection system, which continuously monitors battery
life. When the battery level becomes low, a low battery
warning sequence consisting of 3 double beeps is initiated.
When the warning beeps have finished, normal operation
resumes. Battery replacement is recommended when you
hear this low battery warning signal.
The low battery warning sequence will repeat every 10
minutes until the battery becomes critically low. The end of
battery life warning sequence, consisting of 6 double beeps,
is then triggered. The device is then muted and put into low
power sleep mode. At this point it is necessary to replace
the batteries.
The hearing aid battery packaging usually shows a voltage.
This is the idle voltage of the battery (when not in use).
If you measure the voltage with a voltmeter, you will
see the battery voltage in use, which is much lower than
when it is idle. A lower result from the voltmeter does not
limit the performance or service life of the battery in any way.
