To change the program, tap twice onto your ear, and you will receive confirmation that the program has been changed. There are four different programs (volume levels). With each set of taps you select a higher program, unless your hearing aid is already set to program 4.

    Battery Size Your GOhear-in hearing aid uses a standard size A10 hearing aid battery, which is available for purchase from your Sonetik Specialist. Low Battery Your GOhear-in hearing aid is equipped with a low battery detection system, which continuously monitors battery life.

    The life of your hearing aid battery will vary depending on length of daily use, listening environments, and how your hearing aid is programmed. When the hearing aid battery goes dead, remove it immediately and replace it with a new battery. Batteries may be purchased from your Sonetik Specialist.

    It is important that the ear tip fits properly into your ear. Your hearing aid is constructed from the highest quality materials, and the likelihood of an allergic reaction is low. If the ear tip irritates your ear in any way, contact your Sonetik Specialist.
  • Page 15 It is important to replace the filter as soon as it has become clogged, or after one week to maintain optimal performance. You can purchase additional filters from your Sonetik Specialist. There is a tool included in the exchange filter pack. Use this tool to pick up the clogged filter and remove it from the hearing aid.

    The tip may need to be changed if it becomes stiff, brittle, kinked or damaged. It should always be changed every three months, at the very least. Your Sonetik Specialist should change the ear tip. This is to prevent the tip from detaching from the hearing aid during insertion into the ear.
