- Page 8 Using the surface elements. Memory function This function allows you to retrieve all cooking zone settings if the cooktop was accidentally switched off. Touch the on/off key to switch the cooktop back on within 5 seconds after it has been switched off, all settings that were active just before the cooktop was switched off will be restored.

In Canada, wiring must conform to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). The cooktop conduit wiring is approved for copper wire connection only, and if you have aluminum house wiring, you must use special UL approved connectors for joining copper to aluminum.
