LUBRICATION
Transaxle Fluid Change
Hydraulic Oil Level Check
Check the oil level in the hydraulic tanks daily
before using the mower. Remove the 4 bolts and
lift off the cover to access the hydraulic tanks. The
oil level should be between the markings on the
dipstick. This is the appropriate level when COLD.
Check all connections, hoses, and tubes for
damage or leaks. Contact an authorized service
workshop if repair or replacement is needed.
Oil and Filters Change
The hydraulic oil and filters must be replaced
every 250 to 1000 hours or once per year,
depending on the type of oil used. See Qualified
Hydraulic Oils in the Lubrication section for a
list of approved oils or refer to the transmission
manufacturers service manual.
Due to the risk of impurities entering the system,
all transmission work should be performed by an
authorized service workshop.
WARNING! Escaping hydraulic oil
under pressure can have sufficient force to
penetrate the skin, causing serious injury. If
injured by escaping fluid, see a doctor at once.
Serious infection or reaction can develop if
proper medical treatment is not administered
immediately.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Use minimal
lubrication and remove excess lubricant so that
is does not come into contact with belts or belt
pulley drive surfaces.
