There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced in-
correctly!
 Always use new batteries of the same type. Never use old and
new batteries together.
 Pay attention to the polarity (+/–) when inserting the batter-
ies.
 Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
 Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
 Never expose the batteries/rechargeable batteries to exces-
sive heat (such as direct sunlight, fire, radiators or similar).
Strong direct heat can damage batteries.
 Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into a fire.
 Never short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries.
 Always remove flat batteries from the appliance.
 If the appliance is not going to be used for long periods, re-
move the batteries.
 Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the
appliance and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary,
clean them.
 Only operate the battery pack at a room temperature of 10–
40°C.
