. Before fi rst use
.. Attaching the cleaning brushes
Before first use, the side brushes supplied (if not pre-assembled) must be fitted.
The side brushes can be positioned and removed using a Phillips screwdriver.
 Press both the two brushes marked L and R onto the holders until they click into
place. When doing so, observe the L and R markings on the appliance.
.. Charging the battery pack
The robot vacuum cleaner is fitted with a lithium-ion battery pack.
 Fully charge the battery pack of the appliance (charging time approx. 3.5 hours).
You can charge your robot vacuum cleaner directly using the supplied mains adapt-
er or using the charging station; to do so proceed as follows:
 Set the On/Off switch on the robot vacuum cleaner to the ON position; other-
wise, the battery pack will not charge.
Directly charging the appliance
 Connect the supplied mains adapter to the mains adapter connection on the
side of the robot vacuum cleaner.
