Read these instructions before you start with the commissioning of the inverter.
Failure in observing these warnings may result in injuries to persons or damage
to materials.
Warning!The following fundamental safety
measures must be observed when using
electrical equipment to avoid danger of:
- electric shocks
- danger of fire
- injuries
About the unit itself
- Do not connect the 230 volts output from the
inverter with another 230 volts source.
- The inverter must only be used for the purpose
specified by the manufacturer!
- When working on the inverter, always
disconnect it from the mains!
- Even after triggering the safety device (fuse),
parts of the inverter still carry voltage!
- Do not operate the inverter if the housing or
cables are damaged!
- Maintenance and repair must only be carried
out by a qualified specialist who is familiar
with the dangers involved and aware of the
relevant regulations!
- The inverter must not be exposed to heat
sources (solar radiation, heating etc.) for to
avoid additional heating-up.
- The inverter must be kept in a safe place out of
the reach of children!
- Air inlet and outlets must not be covered.
- Ensure proper ventilation!
The inverters can be operated everywhere that a 12 V DC battery (for 830-012PP) or a 24 V battery
(for 830-024PP) is present. An increase in heat can develop at some units due to the non-sine-shaped
voltage. The maximum continuous rating amounts to 280 watts at the inverters 830-012PP and
830-024PP . Units with a higher power demand must not be connected.
Reference! It must be observed when installing units with electrical drive (e.g. power drill, refrigerator
etc.) that they often need higher capacity than indicated on the type plate.

General safety and installation instructions
Intended use of the inverter
Seite 7
- The inverter may not be operated in a damp or
wet environment!
- The inverter must be positioned and secured
safely in order to avoid it being knocked over or
it falling down!
Caution when installing on boats!
- Wrong installation of electrical units on boats
will lead to corrosion of the boat. Therefore,
please let a (boat) electrician carry out the
installation of the inverter.
Electrical wires:
- If cables have to be led through metal walls or
other sharp-edged walls, use a cable duct or
cable bushes!
- Do not lay cables loose or in sharp bends on
electricity conducting materials (metal)!
- Do not pull on cables!
- Do not lay 230 V mains cable and 12/24 V DC
cable together into the same cable conduit
(cable duct)!
- Secure cables properly!
- When laying the cable, make sure there is no
danger of tripping over and of the cable being
damaged!
