5.11.2 Deletion of all stored measurement results
1. Set the rotary switch to <DEL> (fig. 2, pos. 5).
� The measurement result last stored is displayed.

If no results have been stored so far, three dashes
appear on the display.
2. Press the function key  (fig. 3, pos. 4).

5.12 Downloading of stored measurement
results
To load the stored measurement results from
the FSA 050 via Bluetooth onto a computer, the
CompacSoft[plus] software must be installed on
the computer. Information on this function can be
found in the CompacSoft[plus] software Online Help.
Communication via Bluetooth is only possible with the
FSA 050 set to "FSA" status and the rotary switch in
<SND> position.
SET UP – Setting status
1. Set the rotary switch to <SETUP> (fig. 2, pos. 6).
� The firmware version of the FSA 050 is displayed
for four seconds and then
� The status of the FSA 050 (FSA or STA).
2. Press <TEST> (fig. 2, pos. 1) for approx. two
seconds.
� The status of the FSA 050 changes.
� The buzzer sounds briefly.
� The lock symbol
on the LCD flashes.

3. Briefly pressing <TEST> changes the status (FSA or
STA) of the FSA 050.
4. Press < /OK> to store the status "FSA"

(fig. 2, pos. 2).

The desired value has been stored when the lock
symbol disappears from the LCD.

5.13 CompacSoft[plus] software
installation
If required, download the software from the following
Internet address:
http://www.downloads.bosch-automotive.com
1. Under "Filter products", select the product group
"Vehicle system analysis".
2. Under "Filter result", select the search item
"Software".
3. Select and download the software SWP_FSA7xx__
CORE (software version 7.70, or higher).
4. Open the ZIP file.
5. Extract all files into any directory (except C:\temp).

6. Start the file RbSetup.exe.
� The set-up will start.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
8. Re-start the computer to complete the installation.
5.14 FSA 050 Settings
1. In the CoRe, select "FSA 050/720/740/750/760" or
"FSA 050/500".
� FSA 050/720/740/750/760 or FSA 050/500 is
started.
� The "Settings" window opens.

The "Settings" window is only opened
automatically the first time the FSA software is
started.
2. In the FSA 050 field, select the Use option.

In the FSA measuring module field, only select
the Use option if FSA 500/720/740/750/760 is
available.
3. Press <F7>.
� The "FSA 050 Settings" window is displayed.
4. Enter the MAC address (the FSA 050 MAC address
is printed under the protective rubber on the
reverse side of the device).
5. Press <F12>.
� Bluetooth driver is installed.

If no Bluetooth driver is already installed on the
computer, driver installation starts automatically.
Only the Bluetooth USB adapter supplied is to be
used for the Bluetooth connection with FSA 050.
Do not plug the Bluetooth USB adapter into the
computer until requested to do so during driver
installation. Heed and follow the instructions on
the screen during Bluetooth driver installation.
6. Re-start the computer to complete the installation.
� CoRe is started.
7. Select "FSA 050/720/740/750/760" or
"FSA 050/500".
� FSA 050/720/740/750/760 or FSA 050/500 is
started.

In order to be able select FSA 050 test steps in the
FSA 050/720/740/750/760 or FSA 050/500 start
screen, an electric hybrid vehicle must be selected
in the vehicle identification.
