AC CONNECTION
1. Connect the one end of the detachable power cord to the AC socket (23) and the other end to the AC outlet.
2. When you first plug the unit into the mains, the unit will go into standby mode.
3. Turn on the unit by pressing the On/standby button (2), if the unit has sound output with LCD display (8) showing wordings, it
means the power supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play music.
The unit when is connected to the mains power will switch itself to standby mode automatically if no music has been playing for
over 15 minutes.
DC CONNECTION
For DC operation, please insert 8 pcs size c (UM-2) battery in battery compartment (24) respecting the correct polarity.
FM RADIO
Manual tuning
1. Switch on the unit by pressing the On/Standby button (2), then press Function button (15) to select " FM " mode.
2. Tune to the required station by pressing the Tuning Up or Down button (19).
3. Press the Volume button (18) to the desired volume level.
Auto tuning
1. Switch on the unit by pressing the On/Standby button (2), then press Function button (15) to select " FM " mode.
2. Press and hold the Tuning Up or Down button (19) for 2-3 seconds and then release.
3. The unit will start seeking automatically and stop until a radio station is reached.
4. Repeat step 2 & 3 until the desired radio station is being reached.
5. Press Volume knob (18) to the desired volume level.
FM-Stereo reception
1. Press the " St/Mono " button (9) repeatedly, the FM programs are receiving in mono or stereo mode repeatedly. In particular
when stereo signals are weak, it is preferable to receive the program in Mono.
2. The unit will default the FM mode at stereo status. Thus, if FM stereo signal received then will get the stereo sound automatically
and the stereo indicator " ST " will appear on LCD display (8).
Preset stations
You can store up to 20 radio stations in the memory
Set to tuner mode.
1. Turn to the desired radio station by " Manual" or " Auto " tuning method.
2. Press the " Memory " button (5) once and the " MEMORY " indicator and preset station number is flashing on the LCD display
(8).
3. Press " Pre / Folder-Up/Down " button (17) to select the desired station memory for storage.
4. Press " Memory " button (5) again to confirm the setting.
5. Repeat step 1 to 4 to store other stations.
6. Now you can select the presets stations in order by pressing the "Pre / Folder-Up/Down" button (17)

The pre-set memories will be cancelled completely if dis-connecting the main power supply. You are recommended to switch
the system into standby mode for convenience usage.

There are 5 seconds for program state, after 10 sec. This state would resume to normal tuner mode automatically.

You can overwrite a present station by storing another frequency in its place.
Hints for best reception:-
FM : the receiver has receiver has a FM rod antenna (22). Extended the rod antenna totally and rotate to proper angle for the best
reception.
USB PLAYER
Connecting
The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 file which stored in the memory media with USB connecting port.
1. Set the system at standby mode first or other function except USB mode.
2. Plug-in the USB pen-drive with the face up & make sure it going into completely. Insert straight without bending.

Connecting the USB upside down or backwards could damage the audio system or the storage media. Check to be sure the
direction is correct before connection.
3. Set function button (16) to USB mode.
4. The system will start reading the storage media after connecting and start playback automatically, and LCD display (8) will
show the track number and the playback time.
5. Press "Pre / Folder-Up/Down" (17) select the folder number.
6. Press " Skip Up or Skip Down " button (19) to select the track number.
