Important : close the door before the defrosting process is finished.
Place a water collection tray directly under the cooling zone to catch thaw water.
Note : Never use sharp or pointed objects to remove ice from the refrigerator or
freezer compartment. The refrigerator contains refrigerant gas. If the refrigerator is
accidentally punctured, the appliance will stop working and the warranty will also
be void. Do not operate the appliance when the refrigerator has been perforated.
When the appliance is not used for an extended period, remove the plug from the
socket. Leave the door partially open to prevent the formation of mould and foul
odours.
Note : If the appliance has been turned off for any reason, wait 2 to 5 min before
turning the appliance back on.
HOLIDAY
When going on vacation for a short period of time, you can leave the unit turned
on.
If you are going on vacation for a longer period of time, please do the following :
Remove all food from your refrigerator.
Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
Clean the refrigerator thoroughly.
Leave the refrigerator door open to avoid mold and bad odors.
POWER FAILURE
Most power outages are restored in 1 or 2 hours and will not change the
temperature of your refrigerator. You should, however, keep opening the door to a
minimum during a power failure.
During a longer power outage, you should take measures to protect the food, e.g.
by putting dry ice on your food.
MOVING THE APPLIANCE
Remove the plug from the electrical outlet.
Secure all loose parts inside the refrigerator.
Fully screw in the control feet to avoid damaging the feet.
IMPORTANT RULES
Never place hot food in the refrigerator.
Beverages should be kept in a sealed container.
Food kept in the refrigerator for longer periods of time should be covered or
kept in glass containers.
Never place spoiled food in the refrigerator.
