7. Safety instructions
• For safety and certification rea-
sons (CE) the unauthorised con-
version and/or modification of the
product is not permitted. This will
void the warranty/guarantee.
• Only operate the device at its in-
tended voltage.
• In case of repairs, only use original
spare parts, to avoid serious da-
mage.
• Check feed cables and conducting
cables connected to the device for
breaks or insulation defects. If
you find a defect, or there is visi-
ble damage do not use the device.
• Repairs or other works, e.g. chan-
ging a fuse, etc. may only be car-
ried out by an appropriately trai-
ned, skilled person.
• It must be noted that operator or
connecting errors lie outside the
influence of Gardigo and we can-
not accept any liability for resul-
ting damages.
• Always check whether the device
is suitable for the respective place
where you intend using it.
• The use of this device is not desi-
gned for use by persons (including
children under 8 years) with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or the lack of experience
or lack of knowledge, unless they
are supervised or have been inst-
ructed in the use of the device by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Never hold the device directly to

your ear. Humans cannot hear
ultrasonic frequencies, but they
might the device emits at a high
volume and then therefore it might
be harmful, if the ear is exposed to
them over a longer period.
8. Important Notice
The normal operating voltage of this device is 6 volts. Re-
duced power supply of approximately 3.9 volts can lead to
malfunctioning or to the sounding of a continuous tone/
pulse tone. If the high-pitched tone becomes clearly audib-
le or switch to a continuous tone, please check the voltage
of the inserted battery/batteries and replace if necessary.
This device is microprocessor-controlled and functions per-
fectly down to a power supply of approximately 3.9 volts.
The CE conformity has been declared. All documents are at
our office and can be viewed.

Do not throw batteries or
rechargeable batteries into
household waste!
Consumers are legally obligated to return used and rechargeable
batteries, whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to
designated recycling areas, disposal sites, or stores where batte-
ries/rechargeable batteries can be bought. By doing so, you are
fulfilling all legal battery recycling and disposal obligations and
are contributing to a better enviroment. Make sure batteries are
completly discharged before disposing!

Enviromental
protection notice
At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as
normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting
place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The
icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to
this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their label-
ling. Through reusing, material recycling, or other forms of utili-
sation of old devices you make an important contribution to the
protection of the environment. Please ask the local administra-
tion for the responsible waste disposal centre.
