Safety information
DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the plug in
water or any other liquid! Otherwise there is a risk of an electric
shock.
Ensure that the mains cable never becomes wet or damp when
the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be
trapped or damaged in any way.
Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas: do not use it outdoors.
Always remove the plug from the power socket before moving or
filling the appliance, in the event of problems, before cleaning the
appliance and when it is not in use!
Never pull on the mains cable; always pull directly on the plug itself.
Never touch the mains cable or the mains plug with wet or moist
hands.
Do not kink or crush the mains cable and do not wind it around
the appliance.
Do not operate the appliance if the appliance itself, the mains
cable or the mains plug is damaged.
Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced
as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer
Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
Keep the egg boiler and the mains cable and mains plug away
from open flames and hot surfaces.
Never open the casing. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside. When the housing is open, there is a risk of a potentially
fatal electrical shock.
