Clothing worn during the appliance operation must be
adequate, tight and closed, for example, a work boiler suit.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts.
Never use the power tool if the safety devices are missing,
inhibited, damaged or worn out.
The following precautions and procedures should also be
followed to avoid accidents:
▪ The rotary accessories speed of the table saw must be at
least equal to the maximum speed stated in the
technical specifications;
▪ When using the table saw, place yourself in a stable
position and always keep your balance. Hold the
workpiece firmly and use the provided push stick to
ensure continuous operation and withstand unexpected
situations, such as kickback;
▪ The kickback is a sudden reaction that happens when
the power tool is switched on and the rotary accessory
gets jammed or is tightened;
▪ The kickback occurs due to an incorrect use of the power
tool or an improper working procedure which can cause
serious injuries to the user. Loss of control can result in
serious injury;
▪ Never place your hands near the rotating saw blade.
Keep your hands away from the rotating accessories;
▪ When the rotating accessory gets stuck, switch off the
power tool. If you lose the control of the power tool,
disconnect the power cord;
▪ To avoid displacements or projections use a fixing device
or a bench vice to ensure a safe performance;
Place/maintain the workpiece in a correct and stable
position;
▪ Make sure that the ventilation slots are not clogged while
operating. Do not place any objects over the slots;
▪ The saw blades may get too hot during operation. Avoid
touching them, they can cause severe burns.
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance work, the power cord must be unplugged
from the socket.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be carefully cleaned after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and screws well tightened in order to ensure
a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance tasks, they must be repositioned immediately
and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this appliance or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the table saw. If in doubt,
if you lack knowledge or resources, you should contact an
official dealer.
Your table saw should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.
