batteries could lead to asphyxiation. Keep batteries out of reach of
children. If a battery is swallowed, contact medical assistance
immediately.

Never attempt to recharge standard batteries, do not short circuit
them and/or open them. Never throw batteries into a fire or water.
Never expose batteries to any mechanical loads.
▸ If a battery should start to leak, remove it from the device immediately to pre-
vent any further damage. Avoid any contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. Rinse any parts of the body which have come into contact with
battery acid with plenty of clean water and contact a doctor immediately.
▸ Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which could affect the batteries,
e.g. by placing them on radiators or exposing them to direct sunlight.
▸ Remove the batteries from the device if it hasn't been used for a longer period.
▸ Only use batteries of the type specified!
▸ Pay attention to correct polarity when inserting the batteries!

Clean the device with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use any solvents or clean-
ing agents.

To protect the environment, do not throw the device into your
domestic waste when it has outlived its service life but bring it to a
place where it can be disposed of properly. Contact the local
authority responsible for information on collection points and their
opening times. Defective or used batteries must be recycled in
accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments.

Pollution through incorrect disposal of batteries! Do not dispose of
batteries in domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals
and be subject to hazardous waste requirements. The chemical
symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore, return used batteries to a communal
collection points.
