PREPARING TO INSTALL THE APPLIANCE
Installation rules
- This appliance has been designed for installation in a residential setting.
- Installation must be carried out in accordance with good industry
practice, and with the standards in force in the country of installation.

The appliance must be connected to a 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase
power supply.
- Connection must be made in a way that allows complete isolation
of the electrical supply such as a double pole switch having a 3mm
(1/8") contact separation in both poles. The means of isolation must
be accessible to the user after installation. A fuse is required based on
the rating of the appliance.

In wet environments such as bathrooms and kitchens, the connection
box must be installed at least 25 cm from the floor. The installation
must be equipped with a 30 mA protective residual current device.
Keep the appliance out of the way of any air currents that
might disrupt its operation
- The appliance must be installed in such a way that the switches and
other control devices cannot be accidentally touched by anyone
in the shower or bath.

Installing an appliance at altitude causes an increase in the air outlet
temperature (10 °C per 1000 m change in altitude). It is highly inadvisable
to fit appliances above an altitude of 1000 m (risk of malfunction). The
appliance is not for use above altitude of 2000m.

It is prohibited to fit a vertical appliance horizontally, and vice-versa.
- Maintain the minimum distances from furniture when positioning
the appliance. Do not install shelves above vertical appliances.
Do not install it directly under a power outlet.
As the appliance is heavy, we recommend that
two people perform installation.
Do not use the wheel to lift the appliance.
(e.g.: under a ventilation system, etc.).
