INSTALLING THE UPPER HANDLE
ASSEMBLY
See Figure 2.
„ Attach upper handle to lower handle tube mount.
„ Align the holes in the upper handle with the holes in the
lower tube mount.
„ Insert bolts through the holes in the handle and mount
tube.
NOTE: The head of each bolt should be located on the
sides of the tube closest to the unit.
„ Using the combination wrench (included), install handle
bolts and locking nuts, and tighten to secure.
„ Attach the wire clip to crossbar by pushing until it snaps
into place.
INSTALLING THE CHUTE
See Figures 3 - 5.
Installing the chute:
„ Insert the support pole over the mount pole and align the
bolt holes of both poles.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with products to make you care-
less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is
sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in
objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible
serious injury.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom-
mended by the manufacturer of this product. The use of
attachments or accessories not recommended can result
in serious personal injury.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE: The chute wire should fall to the right of the sup-
port pole.
„ Insert the bolt through the holes in the poles.
NOTE: The chute base should align with the output neck
before the bolts are installed and secured. To ensure
proper positioning, make sure the support pole lines up
with the white mark on the mount pole.
„ Using the combination wrench (included), install the nut
to the bolt and tighten securely.
Securing the chute wire:
„ To secure the chute wire, start from the handle assembly.
„ Loop the wire through the pigtail clip on the upper handle
tube.
„ Run the wire to the chute mount pole and loop it through
the top c-clip and down to the second c-clip to secure
Installing the chute rotation rod:
„ Install chute rotation rod by inserting through crank eyelet
and into crank inlet. Secure with pin.
OPERATION
NOTICE:
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced. Please contact customer service or an
authorized service center for assistance.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purpose listed below:
„ Removing snow from desired areas such as driveways
and sidewalks
WARNING:
Always remove battery packs or disconnect the snow
blower from power supply when you are assembling
parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
This will prevent accidental starting that could cause
serious personal injury.
